Improved crash capture

FIFA 13 relies on older versions of DirectX and Visual C++ libraries. If your modern PC is missing these legacy files, the game will crash on startup.

Corrupted system files can cause dump errors. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type sfc /scannow to repair them.

The "Crash Dump" error is infuriating because it’s so vague. But 9 times out of 10, will get you back on the virtual pitch.

This creates a hardware-level frame cap. FIFA 13 now runs at a stable 60 FPS, the physics stay smooth, and the crash dump from "frame over-rush" disappears entirely.

When FIFA 13 loses focus (tabbing out), Windows gives it 5 seconds to respond. Because the game is old, it often takes 6 seconds, so Windows kills it and writes a crash dump.

Since EA killed Origin, the new EA App causes FIFA 13 to dump immediately after launch. The reason: The app tries to overlay its interface on an unsupported DirectX9 renderer.
